I put them in jail

So frustrated with the kids this weekend.  They can't seem to get along with anyone.  So when we ended up at Twisted Taco after church I put them in jail.

Jacob had archery yesterday.  He needs some work on his form but I think he's showing improvement. In one of the pictures you can see his arrow and the arc he gets on it.

We made it to church this morning.  Still can't hear and still uncomfortable in the pews.  Hopefully I will adjust - but it's really hard to go to church and not be able to understand the sermon because of the sound system.

Layne had Girl Scouts today and Joshua had a Cub Scout Den Meeting. Jacob and I went to Michael's to get him an Art Journal.  Thank goodness PE is over for Jacob and now he gets Art.

Loved the weather this weekend - 70s and slight breeze.  I hope it stays. Although with all the pollen covering everything I guess I should be hoping for rain.

Sunday

So the kids have me convinced they have too much homework for church.  I think this is their "trade-off" for going to the Boy Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet tonight for Joshua.

Errands to run, meals to plan for the week.

Hopefully Atlanta will warm up again.  I know, be careful what you wish for, huh?  But it was 26 F last night - brrrrr.

Finally got all the laundry that has piled up on the landing since before Christmas.  Went to a laundry mat yesterday. Spent about $40 and 3 hours, but totally worth it.  The kids had a great time.  They had a TV and were showing National Treasure.  They got chinese food for dinner from the restaurant next door.  Layne did some homework.  They literally didn't want to leave and are begging to go back.  Strange kids.

Will post pictures later from the banquet.

I forgot the camera at home - but I charged all the batteries.  So this picture is from my phone.  We are playing a Scout triva game.

Circus and Dragons

Yes, the actual circus.  Not just our family.

Was able to use the Zaxby's buy 1 get one free coupon and we all went tonight with Grandma and Papa Jack.  I thought it was fun.  We sat high up, as those were the seats we could do with the coupons.  It was not as good as when we get tickets with the Girl Scouts.

Here is Joshua and I with our clown noses.

Here is Joshua on one of the motorcycles.  That is absolutely the most terrifying part of the circus to me.  Eight people on motorcycles in a circular cage all driving at the same time.

We met Matthew at Carraba's for dinner and made it to the pre-show party on the floor for a bit.  It was a good dinner at Carraba's.  There isn't one near us and I really like them best I think.

I got one picture of all 3 kids at the circus on the "fake tigers".  Just need to scan it and then get it posted.

Here are some pictures from the show - I think we all had a good time:
